Their products were featured in magazines such as The Oprah Magazine, Rachel Ray’s Every Day, and Martha Stewart’s Living among others.In a highly competitive niche like bedding, where the key competitors are giants like Amazon and Walmart, Cosy House Collection turned to Scalers for a comprehensive PPC strategy.
Challenges
The crucial part of our strategy for this client was experimentation with all campaign types: discovery, search, video, shopping, and display. The Discovery campaign type was particularly important in bringing in new customers to this business. A very appealing broad structure of discovery ads to this niche users, allowed us to constantly attract new customers and double sales.
At the moment of taking over the account, shopping was set up, but it wasn’t working with its full capacity. We instantly saw its huge potential and after a thorough product analysis in Google Analytics, we created a strategy that resulted in a continuous ROAS increase of 270% on shopping across all advertising platforms. In order to keep our cost as low as possible (in highly competitive niches we have to pay close attention to our spendings), we relied heavily on product-type-specific negative keyword lists. In addition, we ran various smart bidding strategy experiments until we saw a steady trend in CPA which we have maintained.
