Challenges
Initial account targeting was focused on the UK, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Ireland. After thorough location analysis, we narrowed our targeting to the best-performing countries to decrease cost. Additionally, we noticed that during weekends lead volume was much lower while CPL was higher. To reduce discrepancy and save more money, we utilized ad scheduling. Changes in location targeting, ad scheduling as well as device optimization led to a significant decrease in CPL by 71%.
In order to increase lead volume, we chose an aggressive approach that gave us immediate positive results. Firstly, we researched only high-intent keywords for this business. Secondly, we targeted the best performing countries: the UK, Switzerland, and Ireland with those keywords. Acting aggressively is risky, but if you know how to act properly you might end up with a lead volume increase of 420%.
